- Medical Leave: 30 days maximum for medical ailments with a medical certificate.
- Family Leave: 15 days for family emergencies on self-declaration.
- Maternity/Paternity Leave: Six months for eligible parents with supporting documents.
- Personal Leave: 10 days for attending to personal matters on self-declaration.
- Education Leave: One-year maximum for studies with proof of course enrollment.
- Travel Leave: 20 days for shifting with proof of travel.
- Bereavement Leave: 7 days for bereavement on self-declaration.
- Volunteer Leave: 5 days for community service with a service letter.
- Who are entitled: Central Government officers, with certain filters applicable to different leave types.
- How to go about it: This policy is now operative in nature and officers should avail the same whenever need be as they deem fit for their well-being.
