New Mahindra Bolero Car: It has become the general word that Mahindra is working on a new model of the Bolero. Reportedly, the new Mahindra Bolero is said to be built on the company’s new monocoque platform wherein the inner parts of the body and the frame are incorporated into a type of single structure. This brings good driving, handling, and efficiency. Several pictures of the new generation Mahindra Bolero test mules leaked across media platforms. The SUV would be a confluence of modern-day style with an ancient boxy look.
New Mahindra Bolero Car Design
The front fascia is fitted with a grille that has vertical slats wherein the Mahindra logo occupies the center. With its flat side and square wheel arch, the side profile of this new SUV is reminiscent of a Land Rover Defender. Alloy wheels come as a bonus on the side as well. Talking about features, there will be a touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a USB port to charge mobile devices, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
New Mahindra Bolero Car Safety Features
Safety-wise, the new Bolero will get equipped with cruise control, traction control, ABS with EBD, stability control, and 6 airbags. The brand new NFA or New Flexible Architecture platform from Mahindra is its monocoque chassis that aims at reducing weight. This weighs little and can be made compatible with hybrid and electric powertrains. The company aims to churn out 120,000 vehicles under this platform. These vehicles will be built at Mahindra’s Chakan plant.
New Mahindra Bolero Car Launch Date
The new Bolero shall be unveiled as a concept on August 15. Along with the Bolero, the update model shall come with a new platform. One can expect a plethora of cosmetic changes on the new Bolero. From what it looks like, one could very well get circular headlights at the front and vertical tail lamps at the rear, so far as the spy shots go. These are not production-spec lights, and it is worth mentioning. Other things these spy shots have revealed include a full-size spare mounted on the tailgate. Flush door handles are also worth mentioning.
